*this one’s an oldie from 2013, which I thought I’d leave in. Although my editing style has changed, the type of wedding and compositions are me!
Beautiful, elegant, romantic, and ‘floaty’. This is how to do an English wedding in the country! The details that they chose for their UK wedding really did create that dreamy look that they were going for. They chose a baby blue colour for the bridesmaids while the amazing flowers had soft touches of pink and cream with green foliage.
Just wait until you see their dining room! They completely transformed their Devon village hall into a ‘secret garden’ with hanging baskets from the ceiling and wild flowers on the tables. They complimented this with servings of fresh salads and greens with warm crusty bread resting on each table.
The bride chose a really elegant lace wedding dress to wear. With her cathedral length veil and gentle curls in her hair it was no wonder there were some tears. Her parents were so proud. As for the groomsmen, they were dressed in black tie with thick black waist belts. It was like there were lots of James Bond’s everywhere! They looked impeccable.
After the emotional wedding ceremony I stole the gorgeous couple away from the wedding party for half an hour and found this amazing field with rolling hills to take their wedding photos in. The couple could even wave to their guests who could see them having their photos taken on the hill top.
When we returned their family and friends were playing croquet and having fun with the big ‘photo frame’ which they pretended to be in.
