Weddings in Devon at Huntsham Court are always fun, but this one will definitely stand out for me! I’m lucky to see so many couples who are so perfect-for-each-other couple in my life, and these two were no exception. They just have to look at one another and you can tell they immediately feel alive, loved, joyful, and want to have fun! I love how they did it their way, they followed their own wedding traditions and their personalities really showed through.
For this wedding photography, there was always a moment to photograph. After dinner, I suggested we get whomever wants to be in these wedding photos, over to the lawn. Then I instructed them to walk toward me but do something quirky and fun. Oh, they had so much fun! The wedding photos are brilliant from that set. They even had their wedding cake made into a Super Mario video game. All the characters were there, and they loved it!
I loved that they did a ‘first look’ before the ceremony. It’s such a beautiful moment, private and emotional. Plus, they weren’t staying away from one another that morning. It was all very relaxed, no rules, just fun and silliness.
