Old Down Estate Wedding Photography – Bristol
From the first email we hit it off. They’re a really down to earth and fun-loving couple who clearly love each other.
We were so lucky with the weather – it was a beautiful sunny warm day. They weren’t too nervous, just in anticipation of becoming Mr & Mrs.
The bride chose a gorgeous long veil to go with her wedding dress, along with bridesmaids in green and adorable flower girls in cream with green bows. I thought her choice of yellow and cream flowers was gorgeous next to the green dresses.
Old Down Manor Bristol is a truly beautiful wedding venue. I adore taking wedding photos here. Inside we had the stairs and hall, outside we had a lake, a meadow, and rolling hills with the Severn Bridge in the distance.
The groom’s best man got him doing a bit of a strip to ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ after providing him with a builders hat and orange coat with his name on! I’ll always remember Joel when I hear that song now!
Later we played with sparklers and watched the fireworks.
I said to the couple at the end of the day – I’m going to miss this wedding photography in Bristol.
